Bulgaria reports 515 new cases of Covid-19 out of 5,423 tests performed

515 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 5,423 tests performed, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 9.5% of the tests have returned positive results. 68% of the new cases are among the unvaccinated. 3,172 patients are being treated in hospital, as 413 of them are in intensive care units. 77 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 82% of them were not immunized.

21 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past 24 hours. All Covid-related deaths are among the unvaccinated. 868 people have been reported cured. 350 vaccines were administered on Sunday.

The number of Covid-19 tests has decreased twofold in onе month. At the end of February, morbidity rate for influenza and acute respiratory infections was 75 people per 100,000 people. At the end of February, 2021, morbidity rate for influenza and acute respiratory infections was 57 per 100,000 people.
