The Monastery of the Seven Thrones receives pilgrims also in the winter

The Monastery of the Seven Thrones receives pilgrims also in the winter
The oldest building in the monastery complex is the church dating to the 9th century. Over the years, the temple and the entire monastery were destroyed numerous times and then rebuilt.
The church exists in its current appearance since 1815. It has an original interior architecture - a cruciform nave (middle part of the interior of the temple) and six thrones (small chapels), each of which bears the name of a saint.
