Weather forecast for Wednesday, March 9

Cold spell continues in second week of March

Wednesday will start with the lowest temperatures ranging between minus 6°C and minus 1°C. In the capital city of Sofia it will be minus 6°C. During the day the clouds will be significant and light snowfalls are expected. The highest temperatures will range from 1°C to 6°C; in Sofia - around 0°C.

It will be cloudy and foggy in the mountains. Blizzards and gusts are expected, too. The highest temperature at an altitude of 1200 m will be around minus 3°C; at 2000 m - about minus 10°C.

It will be even colder on Thursday.
