11.62% coronavirus positivity rate in Bulgaria in past day

1,920 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 16,525 tests performed. 11.62% of the tests have returned positive result. 2, 744 people are being treated in hospital, as 365 of them are in intensive care units. 254 Covid-19 patients have been admitted to hospitals in the past day. 82.28% of them were unvaccinated.

31 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past 24 hours. 90.32% of them were not immunized. 3,776 patients have been reported cured.

The highest number of new infections was reported in Sofia-505, followed by Varna- 249 and Burgas- 173.

2,691 vaccine doses were administered on Wednesday. 2,051,307 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle. 698,796 have had a booster shot.
