Bulgaria reports 10.52% positivity rate for Covid-19 in past day

Bulgaria has registered 1,635 new cases of Covid-19 in the past day. According to the Unified Information Portal, 10.52% of the 15,536 tests performed returned positive results. Most new cases are in Sofia - 392, Varna - 248 and Plovdiv -135.

A total of 2,595 people are currently hospitalized, as 345 of them in intensive care units. There are 243 newcomers, 80.66% of whom have not been vaccinated. 41 people died in the last 24 hours, and 4,453 patients were reported cured.
The number of people immunized during the last 24 hours is 2,468. There are already 2,052,968 people with a completed vaccination cycle in Bulgaria, and 702,116 with three doses.
