Dozens of job ads posted on platform for Ukrainian refugees in Bulgaria

Dozens of job advertisements have already been uploaded on the Single information portal set up by the Bulgarian government for Ukrainian refugees. The portal ukraine.gov.bg. has job listings for nurses, waiters, cooks and nannies, language teachers, translators and mechanical engineers.

Employers post vacancies in English and the site automatically translates them into Ukrainian, Russian and Bulgarian.

The offers are for work in different Bulgarian cities or for telecommuting.

One of the latest positions is for nurses in Pavlikeni, Veliko Tarnovo region, with a salary of about 1500 leva or 750 euros for an eight-hour working day. (The minimum wage in the country is 332.3 euros per month - ed.)

The salary for IT specialists is between BGN 4,500 and 6,000 (EUR 2,300-3,066) per month, while for wood processing machine operators operators and general workers in the southern town of Dospat it is BGN 850 (EUR 434).
