“Any person making the decision to provide armaments to Ukraine must be able to stand up and face society to explain what the risk is,” President Rumen Radev said in Stara Zagora where he is paying a visit.

“Our prime task is not to allow citizens and our nuclear power plant to be left without adequate air defence. As you can see there are drones with explosive devices dropping over the territory of neighbouring countries. We must not allow that to happen on our land,” Rumen Radev said.

The Bulgarian President stated that, after the meeting of the prime minister and the Bulgarian minister of defence with US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin, the government must present clear information on the matter to the public.
