70% of the 233 members of the emergency medical services staff in the country are vaccinated against Covid-19, indicate the results of an anonymous survey.
The survey was conducted in the period from 24 February, 2022 to 17 March, 2022, in connection with the weekly discussions on “Vaccines and vaccination against Covid-19”, organized by the Ministry of Health.
Out of all respondents, 144 are medical specialists (33 doctors, 60 nurses and 51 assistants), and 89 are non-medical specialists (12 paramedics and 77 ambulance drivers). 85% of the doctors are vaccinated against Covid-19, and 58% have taken a booster shot. 76% of the medical assistants and 60% of the nurses say they are vaccinated.
