Bulgaria will take measures in response to statement by Russian ambassador Mitrofanova

A diplomatic response will probably follow the statement made by Russia’s ambassador to this country Eleonora Mitrofanova who said, in an interview with a Russian TV channel, that the Bulgarian people does not support the rhetoric and the actions of the Bulgarian government against Moscow.

In the words of Prime Minister Kiril Petkov it is utterly unacceptable for an ambassador to speak on behalf of the Bulgarian people against the Bulgarian government. Kiril Petkov stated that the public in Bulgaria will be informed when the measures have been put in place.
