Bulgaria reports 23 Covid-related deaths in past day

1,140 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 11,615 tests performed, a positivity rate of 9.8%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show.

The number of active cases decreased with 3,840 to 152,524. 204 people with established coronavirus infection have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 78% of the new hospitalizations are among the unvaccinated. 928 Covid-19 patients are being treated in hospital, as 102 of them are in intensive care units.

23 people have died in the past day. 21 of them were not immunized. 4,957 have been reported cured. 1,316 vaccine doses were administered on Tuesday. 2,054,944 is the number of people with a completed immunization cycle.
