Bulgaria reports 27 Covid-related deaths in past day

720 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 8,565 tests performed, data of coronavirus.bg show. 8.4% of the tests have returned positive result. The number of active cases decreased with 4,198 to 137,558. 

75 Covid-19 patients have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 73% of the new hospitalizations are among the unvaccinated. 803 patients are being treated in hospital, as 75 of them are in intensive care units.

27 people with established coronavirus infection have died and 4,881 have been reported cured in the past 24 hours.

894 vaccine doses were administered on Tuesday. 2,056,129 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle.
