Representatives of the Sofia public transport are to protest on May 18. The protest will begin at 8.00 am at key intersections in Bulgaria’s capital.

On June 1, the public transport in Sofia is expected to switch to a summer schedule due to the lack of financing, the Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova announced. The debts of the transport companies amount to EUR 72 million. Mayor Fandakova called on the state to provide compensations due to the high prices of fuels and electricity.
