Active Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria drop below 65,000

There were 167 new Covid cases registered in Bulgaria in the past day, which is 79 less in comparison to the day before. 60% of newly infected are non-vaccinated citizens. 4% of 4,085 tests returned positive result, according to the portal coronavirus.bg.

The total number of actively registered patients decreased to 64,736. Yesterday, 22 people were admitted to hospitals. 15 of them or 68.18% were non-vaccinated. The number of hospital patients decreased to 271 as 30 people are in intensive care.

Two people with Covid died during the past day as both were non-vaccinated citizens. The number of recoveries reached 2,313. A total of 329 vaccines were administered on Monday
