NATO has warned the Kremlin that nuclear war is unacceptable

We do not see a higher level of readiness in Russia's nuclear forces, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told Germany's Bild. "At the same time, Russia's jingling of nuclear weapons is dangerous and irresponsible. Putin must know that nuclear war cannot be won and must never be fought. Our clear signal to Russia is that NATO is protecting all member states," Stoltenberg said.

Stoltenberg admitted that the war in Ukraine could drag on for years, and therefore calls for support for Ukraine not to end, even if it is costly not only in the military field, but also as rising fuel and food prices.

According to Stoltenberg, at the NATO summit in Madrid in late June, an agreement is expected to be reached on a package of aid to Ukraine that will facilitate the country's transition from obsolete Soviet weapons to NATO standards.

The departure of the Turkish ship Azov Concord, which was supposed to become the first foreign ship to leave the occupied Ukrainian port of Mariupol on June 18, has been postponed by 2 days, TASS reported. The head of Russia's National Defense Management Center, Mikhail Mizintsev, said four foreign vessels remained in the port of Mariupol, including Bulgaria's Tzarevna.
