More than half of Bulgarians do not trust news about the war in Ukraine, poll shows

58.8% of Bulgarians disapprove of Vladimir Putin's actions in Ukraine. However, 23.3% do not hide that they rather approve of these actions. Most of them are elderly people, a Gallup International Balkan study shows

50.7% say that the information media in Bulgaria provide about the war in Ukraine was generally unreliable. 25.9% say it is reliable, while the rest are hesistant.

The main source of information for 53.1% of respondents is television. 22.3% of the younger audience receive information from social networks on the Internet. 16.6% rely on web sites as their main source of information.
