Teams of the Bulgarian and the Romanian Traffic Police have launched joint inspections as of August 1. Inspections take place mainly in border areas selected on the basis of estimates for intense traffic of Bulgarian and Romanian vehicles.
The joint checks aim to increase road safety. The Traffic Police teams will be working to catch violations like wrong overtaking, use of alcohol and drugs.
