Bulgaria's caretaker Minister of Tourism, Ilin Dimitrov, is preparing roadtrips to nearby markets (Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, Turkey, Greece) and medium-distance markets (Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, the Middle East). The goal is to improve the visibility of Bulgaria, to show readiness and desire to welcome tourists to Bulgaria.

Among the priorities in the preparation of the winter season, the words predictability and security will be key, assured Dimitrov. Work will be done on green corridors for incoming tourists in the event of an unfavorable development of the pandemic, eased passage through the border crossing, reciprocal agreement on the cancellation of green certificates with Romania and neighbouring countries in the event of the development of the Covid-19 pandemic.
