16 migrants from Afghanistan and Iraq were found in a truck near Vratsa, the police reported.
The vehicle, driven by a 47-year-old Bulgarian citizen, was stopped for inspection on August 16 on the road to Vratsa.
Nine of the migrants are minors. Only two of the group have documents for status of candidate refugees, while the rest have no documents. All of them were detained and work on the case continues. A pre-trial proceeding has been initiated.
