Bulgaria’s female chess players with only one victory at 9th round of chess championship in Prague

Bulgaria’s female competitors ended the 9th round of the European chess championship in Prague with one win, two draws and three losses.

Gabriela Antova was the only competitor with a prestigious victory versus Salome Melia, Georgia. Nurgyul Salimova ended her match versus Govhar Beydullayeva, Azerbaijan in a draw and was left out of the top rankings. The longest match of the day between Beloslava Krasteva and Julia Antolak, Poland also ended in a draw. All other Bulgarian competitors lost.

Two rounds before the end, the highest ranking in the Bulgarian team is Nurgyul Salimova’s 16th position in the temporary standings with 6 points.
