The undecideds can reverse the election

It is difficult to predict the results of the October 2 elections because it is not clear how many people will vote, Dobromir Zhivkov, a sociologist at the Market Links agency, told BNR.

"The election campaign is currently sluggish. I expect that in the last two weeks there will be a higher degree of politicisation of society, which in turn will lead to a higher turnout," Zhivkov said. According to the sociologist, people who have not yet decided for whom they will vote can reverse the outcome.

The main political parties that were in the last parliament have almost similar starting positions. They have already mobilised most of their party cores and are close to the maximum electoral result they could achieve, Zhivkov added.
