Bulgaria to be HQ of Balkan News Agencies

Bulgaria becomes the headquarters of the Association of Balkan News Agencies-Southeast Europe (ABNA-SEE). Kiril Valchev, Director General of the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency, will be the Secretary General of the organization.

This was decided by the representatives of news agencies from the eleven countries participating in the 30th General Assembly of ABNA-SEE, which is being held in Burgas under the motto "Together for True News".

The idea of the association, which brings together news agencies from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, the Republic of North Macedonia, Romania and Turkey, is to develop meaningful cooperation between news agencies in the region and to promote the spirit of friendship.
