Free Spirit Run Giurgiu – Ruse to take place on 25 September

The latest edition of Free Spirit Run Giurgiu – Ruse is to take place on 25 September.

The start of the 15-kilometre event will be from the centre of Giurgiu, Romania, and the finish – in Ruse, Bulgaria, Ruse municipality has announced.

“By organizing the run we are demonstrating our natural bond with the Romanian people,” said Ruse’s deputy mayor Encho Enchev. Around 300 contestants from Bulgaria, Romania, Israel, Turkey, South Africa, Italy and the UK are to take part in the event with a EUR 6,000 prize fund. The oldest participant, who is Bulgarian, is 75 and has taken part in all runs so far.
