French citizen dies in a serious accident in Sofia

A French citizen was killed and two of his companions were injured in a serious accident on the ring road in Sofia early this morning. A 62-year-old French woman is in intensive care with a life-threatening condition. The accident happened after a sports car crashed into their vehicle. The deceased and his two companions were going to the Sofia Airport.

The driver of the sports car that caused the crash refused an alcohol and drug test, but subsequently gave a blood sample. He had dozens of speeding tickets.
