The leader of Vazrazhdane party, Kostadin Kostadinov, told BNR that the low voter turnout is a grave sentence for Bulgarian democracy because 2/3 of the voters are not interested in the future of Bulgaria. A large part of Bulgarian society boycotted the political elite, Kostadinov believes, and emphasized that he did not distinguish between politicians from other parties and that they were "impersonal".

All results are welcome, but it is still too early to comment, said Bulgarian Rise leader Stefan Yanev. "The main task before all parties is to be able to cast a majority that will lead our country out of the crises. The red lines are the national interests, they remain and are connected to the reforming of the EU," Yanev added.

The BSP stated that they will comment on the vote when the final results of the elections are announced.
