Bulgaria reports 4 Covid-related deaths in past day

721 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past day, which is 216 less than the previous day. 12.9% of 5,585 tests came back positive, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 58.4% of the new Covid-19 cases are among the unvaccinated.

The number of active cases of coronavirus infection increased with 141 to 9,815. 91 people have been admitted to hospitals. 73 of them, or 80.2%, were not vaccinated. The number of hospitalized patients increased with 24 to 625, as 47 patients are in intensive care units.

4 Covid-related deaths have been reported in the past day. 576 people have been reported cured. 1,582 vaccine dozes were administered on Wednesday.
