Pilot Nikolay Kalaydjiev sets a world record

Captain Kalaidjiev broke Guinness World Record for take-offs and landings with an ultralight aircraft within an hour

Bulgarian pilot Captain Nikolay Kalaidjiev of the Bulgarian Air Force broke the Guinness World Record for taking off and landing with an ultralight aircraft within one hour. He did this at Draganovtsi airport near Gabrovo in front of more than 250 spectators. 

The previous world record was 36 take-offs and landings, and Nikolay Kalaidjiev managed to break it in 59 minutes and 32 seconds with 40 flights at an altitude of 300 meters. It has been documented and filmed with cameras both from the ground and the cockpit and is to be presented to Guinness.
