Bulgaria's Tourism Minister Ilin Dimitrov has expressed expectations that the upcoming winter season will be better than the previous one, which, in his words, hit a record. "The bookings are going very well, I hope there will be no sharp turns in the geopolitical situation", he commented.

Bulgaria is experiencing growth in a number of markets, including those from the UK and Israel. The good results are due to the advertising and the fact that in Western Europe the prices have risen a lot, while in Bulgaria they are not so high.

Ilin Dimitrov also said that he proposed compensations and a ceiling on electricity and gas for the industry, as well as maintaining the 9% VAT rate. However, this will depend on the National Assembly when voting on the state budget.
