For the first time in 10 years, the Eastern Gate of Serdika will be open to visitors

"Ruins and Empires" in the heart of Sofia

An international exhibition is launched in the city Largo space

The second edition of the "Ruins and Empires" international exhibition, held under the Sofia Art Projects opens on October 21 in Sofia's Largo space, the organizers said. The exhibition will reveal to the public inaccessible spaces in the downtown of the capital bringing new life to ancient ruins. For the first time in 10 years, the Eastern Gate of Serdika will be open to visitors.

Part of the show will be an installation of music and sculpture that will bring the public together under the glass dome of the Largo amidst the labyrinths of the archaeological excavations. 

Both young and established artists from Bulgaria, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and Congo will participate in the exhibition.
