"Vazrazhdane" party hold protest against sending military aid to Ukraine

Less than 100 party supporters and MPs of the "Vazrazhdane" party protested in front of the parliament against Bulgaria providing military aid to Ukraine, as the topic was being discussed inside.

"We don't want to take foreign risks, Bulgaria must keep neutrality," MP Deyan Nikolov said. According to him, the country has no interest in supporting either side in the conflict. According to him, in case of a conflict between NATO and Russia, Bulgaria would become a target and added the decision on military support for Ukraine would be made by a parliament that would soon be dissolved and new elections would be held.

The protesters left even before there was a final decision in the plenary hall.
