The Serbian border authorities at the "Ribartsi" checkpoint did not allow a bus with 18 people from Bulgaria, invited to Bosilegrad to celebrate the Day of the Western Outlands, to cross the border, BNR’s Radio Blagoevgrad reported.

Another bus with students had to wait for more than 2 hours. The guests were supposed to visit the program organized by the Bulgarian Cultural Information Center in Bosilegrad. In the cultural event, the Bulgarian minority in eastern Serbia presented the 3rd and 4th volumes of the collections "The Fate of Bulgarians in the Western Outlands". The visit to the Bulgarian church in the village of Izvor was dropped from the program because of the issue at the border, the chairman of the center Ivan Nikolov said.
