Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 12 November 2022

Cold spell to continue on Saturday

It will be mostly cloudy during the next 24 hours. Mainly in the south-eastern half of the country it will rain, and in the extreme south-eastern regions there will be conditions for significant rain. In the evening, the rain will stop in most areas. A moderate wind will blow from the northeast and cold air will continue to penetrate the country. By midday, the Danube plain will be almost windless and there will be fog in more places. 

The minimum temperatures tomorrow will be between 3° and 8 °C, in Sofia around 5 °C; the maximum temperatures will be between 9°C and 14°C, in Sofia – around 10°C.

It will be cloudy over the mountains. There will be rainfall, more significant in the Rhodopes and Strandzha Mountain. At an altitude above 1,300-1,400 m, the rain will turn to snow. There will be moderate wind, growing to temporarily strong easterly wind in higher parts. The maximum temperature at 1,200 m will be around 5°C, at 2,000 m – around minus 1°C.

Cloudy skies are expected along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. There will be showers in many places, heavier by midday along the southern portion of the coastline. A moderate wind will blow from the north-northeast. The maximum temperatures will be between 12°C and 16°C, and the sea water temperature at 16-17°C.
