Gallup: new elections would yield low voter turnout and similar results

Photo: Gallup

Election results would not differ significantly from those of the October 2 snap elections, if Parliamentary elections were held today, data of a survey conducted by Gallup International indicate.

GERB would earn 25.5% of the votes, followed by “We Continue the Change”- 20.8%. The Movement for Rights and Freedoms would earn 13,1% of the votes, followed by “Vazrazhdane”- 10.5%. The Bulgarian Socialist Party would earn 9.4%, followed by Democratic Bulgaria-8% and Bulgarian Rise- 4.5%.

Voter turnout would be low again as 38% of the respondents said they would vote for sure. However, 56% of the polled support the formation of a regular government, even with compromises. 26.7% of the respondents prefer to go to the polling stations again. Only 24.5% of the polled support the idea for a presidential republic.
