Weather forecast: Cloudy skies and low temperatures

During the next 24 hours the weather will continue predominantly cold. During the night the weather will be calm, with fog in many parts, and showers in some regions of Southeastern Bulgaria. During the day no precipitation is in the forecast, with clouds temporarily dispersing in the mountain regions of Southwestern Bulgaria. There will be a light wind from the East-Southeast. Minimum temperatures – minus 1°-4° C., for Sofia around 1° C. Maximum temperature in Northern Bulgaria 1°-5° C., in Southern Bulgaria 6°-11° C., for Sofia around  7° C.

Over the mountains the weather will be predominantly cloudy with fog. The clouds will begin to scatter on higher ground in the Western regions. There will be a light wind from the Southwest. Temperatures will rise slightly, reaching a maximum of 5° C. at an altitude of 1,200 m, at 2,000 m. – around zero.

Over the Black Sea coast there will be clouds with occasional showers over the Southern portion of the coastline. There will be a light Northeasterly wind. Daytime temperatures will reach 5°-10° C., temperature of the sea water around 12° C., sea state 2-3.
