National Assembly Speaker Vezhdi Rashidov: There is no time to vote on judicial reform

According to the chairman of the outgoing 48th National Assembly, Vezhdi Rashidov, there will not be enough time to finally adopt the amendents to the Law on the Judiciary, which in the first reading created a mechanism for the investigation of the chief prosecutor. The last working day of the parliament will be next week on Friday.

"A bill for justice reform is not made in 1-2 months," emphasized Vezhdi Rashidov.

He also commented on the series of early elections that did not lead to the creation of a stable cabinet: "If the next parliament is in the same configuration, it will not be any different."

Therefore, according to him, the parties should abandon the red lines until the state is stabilized. His formula for successful governance is an expert prime minister, expert ministers and four political deputy prime ministers to share their ministries.
