CEC: A change in the number of seats in nearly one-third of the multi-member constituencies is expected

"A change in the number of seats in nearly one-third of the multi-member constituencies is expected", the Chairperson of the Central Election Commission Kamelia Neykova said for the BNR. Each multi-member constituency shall contain at least 4 seats, Kamelia Neykova noted.

In Kamelia Neykova's words, once voters cast their ballot with a voting machine and confirm their vote, the machine will print a paper ballot. Voters must fold their ballot to secure voter secrecy. A member of the section election commission must stamp the back of the ballot. There will be no campaign to demonstrate the new electronic voting procedure, Kamelia Neikova said and stressed that she expects the new caretaker government to estimate the cost of elections.
