NSI survey: More than 20% of producers anticipate price increases

In January, the country's business climate remained roughly at its December 2022 level, a survey conducted by the National Statistical Institute shows. More favourable business climate was reported in industry and retail, and some deterioration - in construction and services.
21.8% of industry executives anticipate an increase in selling prices over the next three months. The same is planned by 18.2% of managers in the service industry. The main problems facing businesses are the uncertain economic environment, material prices and labour shortages.
