1.7% coronavirus positivity rate in Bulgaria in past day

40 is the number of new Covid-19 infections registered in the country out of 2,312 tests performed in the past 24 hours. The positivity rate stands at 1.7%, Single Coronavirus Information portal data show.

6 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 188 patients with an established coronavirus infection are being treated in hospital, as 24 are in intensive care units.

1 Covid-related death has been registered in the past day. 42 people have been reported cured.

131 vaccine doses were administered on Friday. 2,075,710 is the number of people with a completed vaccination. 942,922 people have had a boosted dose. 70,353 have had an adapted booster shot.
