Alpha Research: Five formations stand a chance to make it into the next parliament

Five political formations are very likely to enter the next parliament and three are just below the 4% barrier, a survey by the polling agency Alpha Research shows. The results of the poll at the start of the election campaign show parity between the coalitions We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (26.4%) and GERB-UDF (25.2%). We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria's oppinion poll results are below their aggregate result at the October vote.

The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) takes the third position with 13.2%. Close behind is Vazrazhdane (11.3%) - one of the few formations whose support grew between the two elections. A decline in electoral support is marked by the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), which receives 7.4%.

Relatively close to the electoral barrier are Bulgarian Rise with 3.8%, the new coalition The Left with 3.6% and There is Such a People (ITN) with 3.2%.

The survey was conducted in the period 21 - 27 February 2023 by Alpha Research, published on the agency's website and realized with own funds. The survey was conducted among 1,007 adults from across the country.
