Bulgaria participates in the world’s largest travel trade fair in Berlin

Bulgaria is to participate in the world’s largest and most prestigious travel and tourism trade fair- ITB Berlin 2023 (Internationale Tourismus-Börse). The event will take place from March 7 to March 9. Bulgaria’s caretaker Minister of Tourism Ilin Dimitrov is to meet with Dieter Janecek, Coordinator for the Maritime Industry and Tourism at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. Minister Dimitrov is also expected to meet with representatives of the tourism business, representatives of the German Travel and Tourist Agents Association, air carriers, etc.

The federal state of Baden-Württemberg organizes a Danube Salon within the frameworks of ITB Berlin. Bulgaria also presents its tourist products at the Danube Salon. The last three editions of the travel and tourism trade fair were held online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Bulgarian pavilion spans 500 square meters and presents 44 Bulgarian companies and municipalities.
