From January 2022 to April 2023, no repairs and/or modernization have been carried out at TEREM-LETETS, the subsidiary of the state company TEREM HOLDING, belonging to the Ministry of Defence, of helicopters of the type " Mi" (Mi-8, Mi-17 and Mi-24) , which will subsequently be provided to Ukraine.

This is stated in the position of the Bulgarian Ministry of Defence in connection with a note received on April 5, 2023 from the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation of the Russian Federation, in which it is stated that Russia finds it "categorically unacceptable" to carry out repairs and modernization of Mi helicopters in Bulgarian enterprises, including TEREM, and their subsequent delivery to Ukraine.
