Weather forecast: May comes with sunny weather and occassional showers

There will be local showers in Southwestern and Central South Bulgaria on Sunday night, but precipitation will gradually stop. Clouds will break and the weather will be mostly clear and calm. The lowest temperatures will range from 5°C to 10°C, for Sofia around 6°C.

It will be mostly sunny in the morning hours of May 1. Cumulous and cumulonimbus clouds will form over the western and the central parts of the country in the afternoon, with a chance of occasional showers and thunderstorms. There will be moderate easterly and northeasterly wind. Daytime highs will reach 18°C-23°C, for Sofia around 20C°.

It will be mostly sunny over the mountains in the morning hours. Cumulous and cumulonimbus clouds will form in the afternoon.  There will be showers and thunderstorms. Above 2,300 meters the rain will turn to snow. There will be moderate easterly and northeasterly wind. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters- around 12°C, at 2,000 meters- around 5°C.

Over the Black Sea coast it will be sunny with a temporary increase in cloudiness. No precipitation is expected along the seacoast. There will be moderate northeasterly wind. Maximum temperatures will range from 16°C to 19°C. The seawater temperature is 11°C-12°C. Sea swell 1-2.
