Bulgaria continues to insist on a termination of the vaccine contract with Pfizer

Bulgaria is abiding by its position that it wants a termination of the contract with Pfizer for the coming years. Caretaker Minister of Health Dr. Asen Medzhidiev stated that the country has been maintaining this position since last December because of the many wasted vaccines against coronavirus, the Bulgarian news agency BTA reports. What has been achieved for this year is a drastic reduction in the number of doses which the country is to receive, Dr. Medzhidiev said, and added that instead of wasting a substantial resource, the country will be able towards channel the money to other activities.
