The three gold medalists signed a letter requesting a meeting with International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach. "He will be coming to Bulgaria and we will seize the chance to meet him," Ivet Goranova said in an interview with the BNR. The three champions will also send the letter all national karate federations to seek international support for the return of their sport to the Olympic programme.
