Weather forecast for June 12

Code yellow for heavy rainfalls across Bulgaria

The number of areas where code yellow for adverse weather conditions is announced has been rising. In nearly the entire western half of the country, precipitation will be intense and significant with conditions for hailstorms.

In the afternoon hours, mainly in Western and Central Bulgaria, there will be rainfalls and thunderstorms. There will be light to moderate northeasterly wind. At night, it will be still raining some areas, mainly in the western regions of the country.

On June 12, there will be light to moderate east-northeasterly wind in the eastern regions of the country. Rainfalls are expected in Western and Central Bulgaria. The highest temperatures will be between 24°C and 29°C, in Sofia - around 21°C.

At the Black Sea coast, it will be mostly sunny before noon. Rain showers are expected in the afternoon. The temperature of the sea water is 21°-23°C.
