With 16 votes "for" and 4 votes "against", the plenum of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) decided on the early dismissal of Ivan Geshev from the position of Chief Prosecutor of Bulgaria.

Ivan Geshev took office as Bulgaria's chief prosecutor in early 2020.
