Weather forecast: The summer solstice brings higher temperatures

On Thursday the weather will be sunny with clouds developing in the afternoon. There will be occasional showers in some parts, mostly in the mountains, and in the Northwestern and the Easternmost regions of the country. Minimum temperatures 14-18° C., for Sofia 14° C. Maximum temperatures 29-34° C., for Sofia 29° C.

Over the Black Sea coast there will be sun with clouds in the afternoon, and a chance of showers in the region of Varna. Maximum air temperatures 25-29° C., temperature of the sea water 22-23° C., sea state 1.

Over the mountains there will be sun and clouds in the afternoon, with a chance of local showers at an altitude of 2,000 m. Temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. up to 22° C., at 2,000 m. 15° C.

On Friday temperatures will rise, no rain is in the forecast.
