The management of PFC Levski has announced that fans of Shkupi, Skopje and citizens of North Macedonia will not be allowed into Georgi Asparuhov stadium for the second match from the second preliminary round of the Conference League.

The decision was made after a tripartite meeting with the participation of representatives of UEFA. The Union of European Football Associations has instructed Levski not to sell tickers to visiting fans. “The instructions include compulsory ID checks at the stadium’s entrances, and not allowing persons with identity papers from North Macedonia, even if they have a ticket,” the Bulgarian club said. After winning by 2-0 versus Shkupi in Skopje, Levski will host the return match on 3 August. The match in Skopje triggered outbreaks of violence, arrests, and one Bulgarian fan was stabbed and has been hospitalized.
