Warning for heat over the whole country on Thursday

The weather on Thursday will be hot. The minimum temperatures will range from 16 to 22°C, in Sofia - 19°C. Highs will reach 35 to 40°C, in the capital - 35°C.

It will be sunny along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Maximum air temperatures will be 27-30°. The sea water is at 24-25°C, north of Cape Kaliakra it is 20-21°C. 

It will be mostly sunny over the mountains. The temperature at 1,200 m above sea level will be up to 28°C, at 2,000 m - up to 22°C.

The weather will stay hot on Friday. A cold front will move in from the west on Saturday evening.

In Europe, there will be significant rainfall over West England and Wales, northern France, the Alps, Scandinavia and the Baltics. It will be sunny and hot in the Balkans. It will be 22°C in London, 20°C in Paris, 30°C in Moscow. In Madrid and Rome it will be 33°C and 30°C. It will be 35°C in Istanbul and Belgrade, 36°C in Athens. The hottest European capital will be Bucharest with 37°C.

In Vancouver and Montreal it will be 26°C and 23°C, in Chicago and in New York it will be 31°C and 25°°C. A temperature of 28°C is expected in Los Angeles, 31°C and 26°C in Miami and Mexico City, 25°C and 24°C in Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. It will be 39°C in Dubai and 33°C in Jerusalem.
