Weather forecast: Temperatures expected to drop, it will rain in some parts of Bulgaria

A cold atmospheric front will pass through the country over the next 24 hours, brining significant cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds. There will be short-term precipitation and thunderstorms in many parts of the country. In some places, these phenomena will be intense. There will be conditions for hail. Temperatures will decrease. Maximum temperatures in Western Bulgaria will range from 20°C to 22°C, for Sofia- around 19. In the southeastern parts of the country daytime highs will reach 27°C-28°C.

Over the Black Sea coast there will be significant cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds. There will be brief showers in many parts. In isolated areas, there will be temporarily intense rain and thunderstorms. There will be conditions for hail. There will be moderate to strong northerly and northeasterly wind. Maximum temperatures will range from 25°C to 26°C, similar to the temperature of the seawater. Sea state 3-4.

Over the mountains there will be significant cumulous and cumulonimbus clouds. In many parts, there will be brief showers. In isolated areas, there will be intensive showers and thunderstorms. There will be moderate to strong northeasterly wind. Temperatures will decrease. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1.200 meters will reach 15°C, at 2,000 meters- around 9°C.
