Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Bulgaria for its support for Ukraine

Ukraine‘s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a video conference with We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria Co-chairman Kiril Petkov, GERB leader Boyko Borissov and Movement for Rights and Freedoms Floor Leader Delyan Peevski. President Zelenskyy thanked Bulgaria for the assistance for Ukraine. For their part, Petkov, Borissov and Peevski pledged that the pro-Atlantic majority in the parliament will continue to help Ukraine.

 "I am grateful to your Euro-Atlantic coalition for backing pro-Euro-Atlantic Ukraine and for being on our side’’, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said and noted that that the decisions taken in the National Assembly are of great help to his country.

‘’I wish Ukraine to achieve peace through complete victory this year, because you are fighting not just for Ukraine, but for all Europe’’, Kiril Petkov said.

‘’You can rely on our full support during the new year, too’’, Boyko Borissov said and added that ‘’Ukraine’s future and security are in the European Union and NATO’’.

‘’I assure you that we are making every effort to continue to provide maximum support to your country despite the huge resistance of some pro-Russian circles in Bulgaria’’, said Delyan Peevski.
